On December 20, 2010 Hitachi Zosen Corporation, a major Japanese industrial machinery manufacturing and plant engineering company, acquired all shares of Zurich domiciled AE&E Inova AG.

AE&E Inova AG which prior to its sale into the Austrian A-Tec Industries conglomerate belonged to the Swiss Von Roll group is specialized in the thermal treatment of residual waste. It plans and builds turnkey energy from waste plants around the world.

We are proud to announce that Hitachi Zosen Corporation elected Gloor&Sieger as its legal M&A adviser in this complex transaction. The Gloor&Sieger team inter alia comprised Christian Koller, Stephan W. Feierabend and Oliver Rappold.
